Check EBay for the back slider, run about $255-285 for the part. Of course, accidents do happen!

I was mowing and slung a rock through my rear slider. I took the truck to the local auto glass shop, as I had done when I had a broken windshield. Because of "fraud" issues they refused to repair until the insurance adjuster verified that the broken rear window was a slider. The repair was a complete replacement. They could not do just the broken section.

The adjuster told me that they used to veify tinted windshields when they were optional.

this isn't totally uncommon, but they do find fraud occasionally where glass companies trump up the invoices to the point where they will install what you had, but bill the insurance company for something more expensive.. especially if the glass company waives deductibles

going from a stationary glass to a manual slider isn't a problem, they both install the same way

If anyone that wants to do this swap is in the San Diego area, I have a slider and wanted a solid, just because in my opinion it looks cleaner and I never use my slider anyway haha. We can swap straight across.
