Default swap solid rear window to a sliding rear window

anyone do it? wheres the best place to get one? im sure the dealership would rip me off... thanks

I wanted to do the same last year (still want to really) and when I priced them the aftermarket were about the same as dealer or close. I was lugging long boards back and fourth working on my house and really wished I had it then!

well then... i think ill call auto glass companies who replace windshields and see if they install truck sliders too, get a quote for the slider and labor......

I had my back window broken out "mysteriously" , and my insurance covered the replacement "slider" that was there .........

wow! is there a write up on this? i might as well make one because im about to swap my slider in my 08 to a solid from my buddys 06. no link to a write up, i searched and this was the only thread i came up on

It's still in the box in my garage but once the spring weather gets here it'll be going in, I'll take a ton of pictures and attempt a write up...
