My 2007 STX hits pot holes and feels like the wheels are coming off I know I need new lower control arms and shocks just want to know what else would be worth changing while im down there....any help would be greatly appreciated

Why control arms, are the ball joints bad. When you replace the strut you may want to look at using a Monroe quick strut. It comes full assembled with new springs and and all. RockAuto has them for about $120 each.

yes I believe the ball joints are bad I had a mechanic look at it and he said there was play in the wheel both up and down and side to side

as far as the quick struts go I have the blocks that go above the strut....ill take that out and the quick strut should give me the same ride height?

Take a look at your sway bar bushings as well.
