suspension lift how much to install
#2
suspension lift--it all depends on the shop, anywhere from 500-750 bucks. also some shops won't install lifts that are carried in--liability issue. i'm sure a shop will sell/install a 6 incher for under 2000 bucks
the body lifts for these trucks are a major pain and quite labor extensive, i have heard quotes of 1000-1200 installed with the body lift. i would guess 10hrs of labor at a shop to install one, i also have heard shops refusing to do them.

About $750-$1000 is correct for a 6" suspension lift installation with the follow up tightening and all. Your best bet is to buy the kit from a place that does the installation. When they make money on the kit they will magically find a weekly special on labor cost.
My Pro Comp lift was $1700 for the lift and $800 in labor respectively but having it done at 4 Wheel Parts and buying the kit from them also it ended up less then $2200.
As far as a body lift goes, yes it is cheaper, yes it is an easier install, and yes you get what you pay for
