Default supercharger fitment

A guy on craigslist has a s/c from an 03 harley d 5.4l. will it fit my 04 xlt? what parts will i need for it. he had it ported and polished and wants 200.00 for it.he has s/c only with a 2.4 pully on it. Im just wondering. any help would be grateful. I know i need an intake and larger injectors, but what else. my engine is stock with 140000 miles on it what is a safe boost psi? would like a 100 more horses in the stable. he just texted it's pushing 20+ psi. please help. I don't want to let a good deal get away. Any questions i should ask him about the s/c?

Try the search button, this has been asked before. And the older superchargers will not fit the new 3 valves.

Look up blownford. He has a blown 5.4, but I don't think that blower will work on your truck anyways. And it's it's pushing 20psi that's way too much for stock anything. So many upgrades would be needed to safely run 20 psi it would be thousands and thousands of dollars

03 5.4L is a 2v and yours is a 3v so they take different superchargers

It's a no go. That blower won't fit. But this 20psi thing is amusing.

20psi on a Harley truck. I think not. Sounds like he's blowing some sunshine up your way to entice you.
1. The 2.4 pulley is 15-16psi pulley and would have to be used with an 8lb lower to get that kind of blower speed.
2. The Eaton M112 won't tolerate being spun fast enough to produce 20psi. It's called over spining the blower. The Heaton Eaton starts producing deminished returns around 14-15psi (that means it starts producing more heat and less power than its worth) By 20psi the Eaton would be producing so much heat at that point it would detonate the fuel long before the spark plug ever ignited. At 5psi the Eaton produces 120-140F degree temps across an rpm range of 4,000-14,000. At 10psi she produces 180-230F across the same rpm band. Eaton in their own test doesn't spin them more than 14,000rpm.
3. The motor and fuel system won't support it either.
I could go on and on.
