Supercharged guys in here
My f150 is supercharged and I find a place online that sells a walbro pump that is higher flow than the factory pump. The specs exceed the power level i'm at and I'm pretty well at the safe limit of the stock rods and pistons.
My tuner was unable to get my truck to start well. It will start and die once and the next time it will start and rev up to about 2200 and then steady out and idle. In the cold, it takes several tries to get it to start and stay running.
He told me that it was very lean on start up but he tried adding just a tiny amount of fuel and it goes extremely rich. He blamed it on the fuel pump. He said if I went with a Ford factory pump (from a gt500 or focus svt or gt40) he could tune it and get it perfect.
I bought a gt40 pump but it won't fit without major modification.
What pump are you all using and did your tuner have any issues with it??
Thanks guys
Jeff

What Supercharger do you have? Any other add ons?
Have you contacted the supercharger company and see what they recommend?
Also check your spark plugs too. Most of the time you need the plugs 1-2 steps cooler.

Jeff, what fuel pump did you get? Part number?
I personally run a Fore Fuel hat and twin 255lph
Walbros. I know a few guys who have upgraded to the recently released single pump that fits our trucks and flows considerably more. One os JDM tuned and the other the guy does his own tuning. So it can be done.
