Default Supercharged 4.6?

OK so ive spent countless hours on the web searching for info on using a mustang 4.6L supercharger with the f150 4.6L and have come to find nothing. Let me start out saying please dont reply with should bought a 5.4L or crap like that. Im trying to start a truly tech oriented thread. I have the cash to do this and want it! I dont want turbos and the only kit I can seem to find is the STS anyways, which is not an option for me as I think water intrusion will kill it with my driving. The only thing Ive seen is replys saying its been done by a few using a mustang supercharger. If anyone can point me to the right direction I would appreciate it! What exact supercharger was used? who did it? etc etc.......

I have researched this topic extensively for the 4.6L. Here is what I have found out. You can use a 4.6L Supercharger kit for the 4.6L Mustang. You can also use the 4.6L Turbo kit (not STS). The difference in these 2 set ups is mainly the direction the intake points. On our 4.6L trucks, its straight, perpendicular from the front bumper. On the mustangs, its angled towards the front right headlamp. Just a simple addition of a bend to get it to where ours go and you are done. Also, all Trick Flow products designed/developed for the 4.6L mustang, are compatible with the 4.6L f-150's. Hope this helps.

Im pretty good with wrenches but not confident enough to tackle this without seeing someone else doing it or knowing 100% that the mechanics of the kits will mesh with the truck. also dont want to spend 3-4k on something that becomes a paper weight bc it doesnt fit my truck.

I'm glad you posted this Rubicon. I was wondering the same thing, also wondering if 3V heads from the mustang would fit the 4.6L. I am new to this forum but have always been a ford man! Bought my 04 new with only 30 mls on it. Have done different mods to it but would love to supercharge it!
