Running a Magnacharger my self, 9 psi puts dyno 380/445 Dyno jet. I like the kit only issue is having some one tune it locally.

I am also lifted running larger tires (heavy) 35" muds and 20's....

The only way Roush may kick in is if the entire motor fries; again that is a "maybe".
Did you ever get the overheating problem fixed after our outting? I know fixing the e-fans helped but still. Oh, what about the alternator?

I have a question for you guys with superchargers. Did you have to make any upgrades to the transmission to handle the added power. I ask because I had a dodge cummins diesel before my 150 and it cost me 7grand to build the transmission to hold the power the truck was making. 537hp 1105ft lbs of torque to the wheels. Or is it just the torque that rips them apart? I just want to make sure I save up the money to do it all if it needs anything else done. Thanks

I don't have a SC, but the transmissions in the Dodge's are **** to start with. It doesn't surprise me you had to rebuild it after making that much HP. Most people have to rebuild it even with a stock motor.

Well, funny you would ask about the tranny. Got off the phone today with Roush concerning the boost gauge and I was told when i asked about the numbers I was seeing at the flywheel and they said the stock tranny on the 4x4 with the towing package and external cooler should handle the load fine. Provided I wasn't dragging in it every day and pushing more boost than the kit had. I pull a good size boat with this thing, and the other day I hauled it from storage to fire it up and winterize it and I was seeing 450+ tq on the flywheel in OD going up hills before the tranny would kick out of OD to 4th. Usually the truck will get up to 300 or so doing the same job and I was concerned about sticking another 150 against that OD gear. Basically I"m just going to use a little common sense and kick it into towing mode while running up and down hills but will utilize the OD on normal road surfaces with moderate grades.

If you run 9lbs of boost or more on the stock tranny and have a heavy foot to boot, you are surely going to run into some trouble if you don't upgrade the clutches and such in the stock unit. Then again, I am no expert. Just exercising a little common sense based on what other "experienced" folks have told me.

Checked for leaks.....Glowshift gauges are crap out of the box evidently. Put 20 lbs on it and it shows 8. Now I have to tear apart my custom pod and rip it out and hope to god that I don't destroy the pod in the process. Read online somewhere some guy sent 3 fuel pressure gauges back in 1 yr from them but it was too late..I had already purchased mine.

Finally got a fuel rail adapter that fit the '04 in. Fuel pressure gauge is now working. Running normal it sits around 40psi but if you get on it, it will jump to 80 immediately. Not seeing any temp fluctuation on the heads, so I guess everything is mixing fine. Thinking I should have sprung for a mixture gauge instead of the fuel pressure. Between monitoring the temp and the pressure I should be ok though. Still working on the boost gauge though. Ordered another one because I didn't want to tear the pod apart twice. Once to remove and another to replace. Because I certainly wasn't going to drive it around with the dash tore apart for a week waiting for the new one.....Duh

I just installed an AutoMeter A/F wide band in addition to my boost gauge. Got room for one more. The wideband is a good investment for anyone running boost.
