Read the whole thread before you chime in. Throughout it I have said I'm not looking for aftermarket because they are not hidden away. I don't want something stuck on my tailgate or anywhere. Hidden step or nothing. Thanks for the link though.

They changed the tailgates in 08 on the Super Duty if you are talking about the one with the emblem in the middle with super duty stamped on the bottom. i would think it wouldnt fit on an f150

did you happen to check www.car-part.com and see if anyone around you has one. the yard by me would sell it for 50 bucks if the person took it off themself.

Never heard of this site you gave. Awesome! They have the whole tailgates for like $2k. Can't find anyone on there that has a Tailgate step, or even an 09-10 tailgate w/ step.
I'm gonna go see if I can get a deal on the steps from my local yards here in Houston. How positive are you on the $50 if you pull from the yard by you? I'd pay you for the shipping, what you paid, and enough for a case of beer to get it to me.

I have a buddy that has a 2009 Fx4 with the tailgate step, but don't think he's quite ready to give it up lol.

See if he would let you mount his tailgate on your truck so you could send me a pic? None of my friends have a new model. I'm concerned about the bodylines lining up. I'm not worried about that "flare" the tailgate has now because I can fab up that on my fenders to smooth out that line. PRETTY PLEASE??? Thanks I.A. !

I am in the same boat, except I have a huge dent in my current bumper, (dont ask!!!). I have been looking at the Super Duty bumpers as well and was hoping for a good fit. One option you can do is google your local flat bed/utility truck bed conversions. I found a couple F-150 tailgates there, but not the same color. The Super Duties would be more popular there due to the bigger truck. Every place I called here in Denver had quite a few of the 250 and 350 tail gates.
