Default suicide door rattle

Hey guys, I have an 07 regular cab with the suicide doors and my passengers side door has been rattling very loudly when I go over a bump. I took it in and the guy at the dealership said that i wasn't shutting the rear door hard enough and that was causing both doors on that side to rattle where they lock together. Sure enough, if i slam the door shut it doesn't do it, but should i have to slam the rear door shut everytime? Just wondering if anyone else has had this issue. thanks

I had an '06 supercab and I ALWAYS had to slam the drivers side. It was very annoying when you'd forget to slam it. I tried to "tweek it" but it didn't really help. The easiest way to fix it is buy a supercrew. LOL

could have something to do with the tight seal of the doors, and the pressure from the air inside the truck.

I have the same problem, I have to slam each back door so they don't rattle everytime I go over a bumb...real pain in the butt when you don't plan to stop for a hour or so

I notice in mine that I have to shut them with authority as well.....or I get the rattle too. Hard teaching my 10 year old stepdaughter to do that every time, though.

Yeah... but only on the back ones. Not easy to adjust, without screwing it up on the front doors.
