Default Subwoofer Location & Brand

On my 08 Crewcab I want to put a subwoofer in. I've seen the sub and amps that are together for under the seat. I also seen the shallow subs with box. I don't want to take up slot of room in my truck. I don't need a lot bass just want better sound. I'm just trying to get an idea of where people out there subs and what brands are the best. Thank you

I would look at the smaller self powered subs if I was you. It definitely won't rattle anything but you will get a better fuller sound. They should fit easily underneath the rear seat. I have two rockford fosgate 10's that I really enjoy in a box that takes up every bit of the space underneath the back seat.

I have a JL P108 under the seat of my Supercab. It's only an 8" sub and really sounds great. I had the 6" version before and it did sound good, but I wanted just a little more and this version definitely did it. I will say both are impressive for the size. I mounted my amp behind the seat on the back wall. If you have a supercew, you have more room than I do in the back.

That is the look I'm looking for. Don't want to take up a lot of room and just want to add some bass

I have a Kenwood powered subwoofer behind the back seat of my Super Cab. I took out the back rest on the back seat and stuck it back there. No mount or anything just sits there and doesn't move. Easy to install and power was hooked up to the factory subwoofer spot in the fuse box. It won't rattle the windows but adds to my listening experience.

Pic pulled from the web to give an idea of the size. Not my installation.

Got it from Amazon

I've got 2 jl 10s in a fox acoustic box and love them but they take up all the room under the back seat
