Default Subs under rear seat

Hey everybody,
I have a 2008 f150 supercab xlt and thinking about adding a set of subs under the rear seats. I am looking at buying a pioneer radio and sorta want to keep the whole system pioneer. I don't want to sacrifice to much of the space in the back of the truck but still want about 12in subs and just wanted to know if yall had in suggestions on what subs to get pretty cheaply that still sound good/hard hitting. Also what kinda box to get with it. Any tips at all are greatly appreciated.
Thanks!

I have a 06' Screw and with just a basic custom box to fit under the rear seat I could only find a 10" Kicker sub that was shallow enough to fit snug under the seat without it hitting the bottom of the seat while playing or someone sitting on the seat. The depth on the sub is only 5" and the other sub I tried was 5 3/16" and it wouldn't allow the seat to fold down completely.

I've got a shallow 12" pioneer. Pounds REALLY good. I believe it's just over $200 new and the box is custom. Got the two of them on a local buy and sell site for $80.

I've got two 12" kicker comp rt I believe they are under my backseat. I forget the brand box I got but they are custom built for every order from my buddy's shop. Costed me about $220 for box with discount. And the subs were about $300 a piece? I think lol. Can't remember. But it all sounds real good. All my stuff is listed in my sig tho

Pioneer makes amazing Head Units but I would never run their car audio speakers or amps personally but I have in the past years ago, although my entire 8.2 surround system in my house happens to be pioneer

I have heard rumors these pineer comps might be a pretty good speaker set but haven't heard them.
Amazon.com : Pioneer TS-D1720C 6.75-Inch D-Series 280-Watt Speaker Package : Vehicle Speakers : Car Electronics Amazon.com : Pioneer TS-D1720C 6.75-Inch D-Series 280-Watt Speaker Package : Vehicle Speakers : Car Electronics

And stay away from the App Radio crap as well.

Second that about the app radio. I have to buddies who are lead techs at their shops and say the app radios are garbage. I do love my avhx8500 tho! And I do have the option to turn it into a app radio if I really want too

I don't personally have this problem because I have a reg cab so I use a full size box but I have heard of seat spacers that lift up the rear seat so you don't have to run shallow sub's. Y'all can look them up. You can also make them yourselves

i got a 12" kicker sub with amp, box, door speakers and all cables for just under 500 off ebay from some guy who makess custom setups. Box fits snug under rear seat and sound great. I also bought a pioneer deck to top it off and the whole system sounds great. Not obnoxiously loud bass to scare the neighbors but sounds great and hits hard inside the cab.
