Had $800 worth of tools, CDs, glasses, and camera taken while vehicle was overnight at shop on a 2-day fix. Vehicle was out back in a 'secure' area, with 8ft barbed wire fence, gates, and cameras. Problem was that yard lights weren't working, so nothing to see on camera. There was a trail of my stuff strewn on the ground from the truck to the gate. They cut me a cheque for everything, no questions asked, and next 2 services were free. Now that is customer service at its finest!

When I was 20 I had some low lifes steal the water pump off my Boss 302 right in front of my own restaraunt!

Went outside to have a smoke break and noticed some water underneath my Boss, but then noticed some guys with car trouble at the end of my parking lot, and went to go check on them first.

I asked them what was wrong with their Truck and they said "Our Water Pump went bad so I took one off that mustang over there." Told them I would go inside to see if anyone had some coolant for them, and I called the cops. I came back outside to inform them that they had stolen from my car and about that time the cops showed up.

Guy was very irate in court oddly lol. Sweet Justice.

Why would the guys just admit to stealing a water pump? That makes no sense. I guess criminals aren't the smartest bunch.

They have no remorse for anything until they get caught. Then they pretend to be sorry.

They probably thought they would seem like "bad asses" for admitting to some stranger that they stole something thinking it wouldn't bring about any consequences. In my experience, people like that, want to tell someone what they did, as long as they think it won't get them in trouble. Those kind of people have to brag about it, gives them more of a rush I guess.

When I had my truck at Ford for a week I took out my programmer, radio, all my tools and personal items. Also took out my sub and amp. Trust nobody! At the dealership i visit there are signs by the service desk and in the waiting room that say they aren't liable for ANY damage whatsoever while your truck is parked on the lot.
