I have a 2005 fx4 with on floor shift I still have cruse control and brake lights so I believe it's the brake interlock but I can't find the part number

there is a solenoid that unlocks the shifter. When in park when you hit the brake you should hear click. Find the lock and check power at the lock when pressing the brake.

Rock Auto calls it Shift Interlock Solenoid in the transmission section

You might be able to remove the solenoid and disable the lock till you get a new one
