Hey, ILUVMYFORD, just curious, did you end up getting the STS system?

I have a Vortech kit on my 08 5.4, I have 39 lbs injectors, kb boost a pump, e-fans, sct tunes and true du als. My dyno came out at 429 HP 415 torque. The only other mod I had to do was add a set of caltrac traction bars to keep wheel hop down. My truck is a daily driver and I've put about 10k miles on it without an issue. And yes, I stomp on it!!

If your mechanically inclined and have a dyno tuner near by, I would suggest you spec and make your own remote mount kit... I priced a few different kits out on my own and have come up with good prices ranging from $1800 - $3000 for everything including speculative dyno time and the purchase of an SCT xcal 3.
You are paying for convenience with STS... I would go turbo in a heartbeat if I could avoid the remote mount (under the cab) setup.. This is the only thing that I'm just not too keen on.

If you want a turbo in the engine bay, the price will be high with new headers and custom piping to merge the 2 hot sides before the turbo...
