Default Strong vibration even after new tires

Well few months ago i noticed a vibration in steering wheel at like 50-53 mph, and then agian at like 63 mph.. smooth as glass at 75-80 now the tires i had were cupped and worn out nitto m/ts so i finally broke down and baught a set of federal mts, and decided to use balance beeds this time.. per dynabeads site i used 8 oz after driving around for a bit the vibration is still there it can get harash at certain speeds.. i did have a broken lower steering shaft replaces that as well.

Im almost wondering if i have a unbalances drive shaft or bad ujoint. I dont feel u joint play also got the dreaded bed bounce.. even tried new rear shocks

I dont have any bent rims

Im gonna say a u joint, reason being my truck would vibrate pretty good when driving, and had no play in the driveshaft. Turned out one of the caps was cracked. Hope this helps.

I’m gonna say Struts... If your old tires were “Cupped” that is a classic sign your struts are wore out or another suspension part... you do not mention mileage...

145k, tie rods, bjs wheel bearings swaybar end links all good. Tires were cuped due to bad alingment i just neglected to do it. Camber/toe was out

Can someone link me to the correct ujoints? For my drive shaft on rockauto? Or similar. Its 1 piece serviceable

I'd recommend a Precision #331 joint. It's the same joint at the axle and trans.

I'm not positive u-joints are your problem... A few of my friends are not happy with the rides their Federals are giving them. IMO cheap tires will give you a cheap ride. Your symptoms mimic an out of round tire to me.

It started on my prevous tires, as well. Couple guys at work love their federals. One of the reasons i supsected the ujoints was cause they do have signs of wear as well, black soot/grease around the flanges

Don't think a bad alignment will cause Cupping...but, If you say so...

If his camber alignment was off, then that could absolutely cause cupping.
