ok so this morning when it was cold i went out and done the check again. Both acles stayed locked so i drove till vibration same thing locked. Came back home and it just randomly clicked and both unlocked. What would cause it to only do ot cold?

I realize this is a long shot. but Out of balance or flat spots on the tires?
Or a bad tire? out of round wheel?
I know they are new but you never know.

I had this issue with a set of 3 mo tires. Every morning my truck would shake to death. Drove me crazy. About 15-20 minutes into my drive (longer if it was colder) it stopped.
Did an alignment no aval. Had the shop check everything, nothing.
Rebalanced the tires, better.
replaced the tires = gone.

strange but true.

My IWE control solenoid took a dumper about 6 mos. ago. The symptoms were occasional grinding/ratcheting noises at cruise speeds as the hubs attempted to engage. I changed it as soon as I caught it in the act and my hubs (IWE's) are working fine so I think I avoided damage. My old one looked fine, with no indications of water intrusion, but a new one fixed the problem immediately.
