Thanks for asking, strangely the noise is barely there any more. I don't know if part of that is I am often not going that fast because of traffic, and also having the radio on. I did hear a little something here and there but very mild. After I figured it was nothing electrical or serious I wasn't overly concerned, but I'll have to check again the next time I am going down the highway around 70 or so. But overall I really haven't noticed it at all any more.

Yeah I think it very well may be one of these things. Something around the windshield area. I checked around the trim and didn't see anything though. I'll check the wipers next. Still no idea what's causing it, but as stated above, I haven't even noticed it lately.

Removing dash slowly thinking I may stumble on it. I found a few loose 7mm screws hold blower venting. I’ve packed out under air bag, defrost vent, any plastic to metal with foam rope between. Still have it.
could there be a pencil or something falling into defrost vent?
