ive been planning this for awhile and one day i will do it, dont bother with 1/2 ton axels, heres my list.
03+ f350 axels: they have abs plugs (if keeping abs) front is plug & play, the rear you have to rewire, id sugest 06+ axels for the coil over front end since you dont wanna have leafs.
f350 steering box with all links, have to make custom shaft to hook colum to box
axel mounting is all up to you but if your this far in id just 4 link it, or u can use stock radius arms coils & coil buckets i havent figured out any ideas for sway bars yet.
you need custom length driveshafts
extended brake lines
& if u can work a welder ginder & tape measure im sure the rest will be cake work
a couple builds to check out

Addin ya now so I can stay posted
If you wanna stick with 4.30's and HP44, you'll have to look into swapping D50 gears into your D44 housing. Which is possible with the right bearing kit, do a search on Pirate4x4.com.

The other thing you'll need to worry about is finding wheels that will clear a D44 hub and have the 6x135mm pattern. Or you could swap a SD D60 and get wheel adapters for your rear axle.
