Straight Axle? Anyone?
Has anyone on here straight axle their F150? Considering putting a HP44 in the front. Im just not a fan of IFS . Ive done axle swaps before on Jeeps but never for a IFS. I can figure out the coil over mounts and control arms. I dont know what to do with the steering though?

Im feeling either a HP44 and 9". Or i may just do it all up right and put a 60 and 10.25 from a Super Duty under it. Im gonna start examining some ideas, may be looking at some ideas for tax return season. If i can manage to keep this truck that long. I get tired of the same thing

I agree there isn't going to be any "Kit" for this. It'll have to be a fully custom setup. Also is a 44 going to be good enough? I know a lot of guys on the Ranger site say the 44 isn't good enough and thats on a smaller, lighter truck with less power.

If you're gonna do it, go with 1 tons.

Did you consider taking the entire front end out of a donor Superduty: steering shaft/ steering box, linkage, axle, front drive shaft and suspension. You would still have to fabricate mounts and I think your transfer case output will line up with the foward diff.
