Default Stock Rims, 35's

I purchased a pro comp 6" lift and im completley ready to put it on but I honestly can't decide on aftermarket rims, and I really just want to keep the stock lariat rims i have ive decided. I have looked them up and im pretty sure they are 7.5 inches wide...and so this is my question for those of you who might be running this setup, what's the widest tire I can go for and still get a height of 35"

Pics of people running stock rims on 35's would be cool too

Thanks

You're going to have to get wheel spacers with stock rims.

He doesnt have a lift, youll need spacers. Im not real knowledgeable on spacers, its not something many people have. You wont be able to run a 12.5" tire with stock wheels. Im not sure if you have 18s or 20s but it looks like Toyo has a 285/75-18 which is 35.1x11.6. I have Nitto Trail Grappler 295/70-18

Alright well, if i were you id go with the Toyo's. Them are Nittos are great tires, the Toyos are just closer to what you want. Id say you just need a 1" spacer, because most lifts require 4.5" of BS, but im not sure because the stock wheels are only 7.5" wide.

I do not believe a 1" spacer will work unless you grind the studs down. The smallest I believe that will fit is the 1.5". I put them on my truck and they work just fine.

This is a very common question. I've seen plenty of owners here and on other sites running 35x12.50 tires on their stock rims with a 2.5" level. Also seen owners run 33x12.50 on stock rims with no level. Of course those were 4x4 models, so 4x2 will require a slightly smaller tire.

Either way, here is a good thread to review. This thread was stickied at one time, but is no longer. Good info though.
