Whats the best stereo price and quality wise. one that takes up both spots(same size as the stock system), maybe a touch screen?

these range from $200 to $2000 so you have to narrow down what you want it to do.

Some have GPS navigation, Back up camera, bluetooth to your phone, dvd player, Ipod hook up, etc. You can even get them without a cd player. Some dont have removable faceplates.

Crutchfield is a good site to buy one. Good prices and they usually give you all the wiring harnesses you need to hook it up as well as directions. good reviews of the product too.

The "best"? Way too subjective. Your best bet is to determine a couple of things:

1) How much do you want to spend?
2) What features must the head unit have?
3) What can you do without for price reasons?

Then shop Ebay. I bought a used Pioneer AVIC D2 for under $200.00 shipped. I had to buy the east/west GPS disks, but that too was available for under $20.00 (copies).

I know there are newer units with "built in" GPS maps and more features (like bluetooth for hands free phone usage), but I determined I could live without that. This is what you have to decide you "must have" and what you can do without.

Yeah it plays cd's, and has a front USB input and AUX input as well, theres a new model very similar to it coming out in March 2010 called the AVH-P3200BT thats just an updated version of it with bluetooth built-in, thats the one i'm probably gonna get
