Stains on the seat

Assuming it's a cloth seat, the use of a carpet/apolstry unit is the best. I have a Bissle unit that was bought to "spot clean" the house carpet, but it also can with an attachment to clean apolstry. It worked great on my grey cloth seats. Once dry, I treated the seats with 3M Scotchguard; this allows "in between" cleanings with the spray can type spot cleaners.
You can try the can type cleaners, but if the seats are badly soiled, this cleaner tends to leave clean and dirt tracks, as this stuff is intended to remove spots, and not the entire seat area.
If you don't have access to a cleaner unit, try a large car wash facility, they offer this service. Then Scotchguard.
If the seats are leather, then Zymol is the best I've seen and used. They sell a cleaner, then a conditioner that keeps the leather soft, and prevents the leather from cracking.
