Default squeaky power windows

Hi just wondering if I should open up the door and wd40 the motors.and gears. They are very loud going up

Mine squeaked, but it wasn't the gears. It was the tracks the window slid up. I shot them with some silicone spray, and the squeak went away.

My back 2 are noisy going up, I'll have to try silicone on the tracks.

its not the slides that squeak. its the plastic wheels that the metal cable is attached to on the regulator. the plastic wheel is mounted to a metal arm and on mine i did not find any grease at all on it. you have to remove the door panels to access the bottom of the regulator and if you look in the door you will see the wheel with a metal cable on it. grease that up with the silicone spray lube and that should fix it.
