Default squeaking door fix!!

Think I have nipped this in the butt, been having some awful sqeaking over little bumps. I figured out that using turtle wax trim restorer on the rubber weather stripping around the doors and shazam! No more squeaking!

I use silicone spray. But not for squeaking, I do it in the fall so the weather stripping doesn't stick to the body in the winter.

I spray silicone on all the rubber door and window trim throughout the year for preservation of the rubber and elimination of squeaks. There is also rubber just inside the front doors that seals against the rear of the fenders. The silicone keeps them from squeaking too. Same as allinon72 says above...the seals do not stick in the winter snow and ice. Spray door hinges and locks. It stops squeaks and makes everything work smoother. Use it liberally, it will not hurt anything, but it will smear on the windows. Do not spray near the instrument cluster...it will harm the finish on the clear acrylic face on the dash. Ask me how I know.
