Squeak/Rattle in Headliner???
I have a 2004 F150 extended cab I just bought used. I have been hearing a squeak or something coming from behind the driver seat in the headliner or behind the back seat. I have seen some posts that there are rear window issues, but I have the sliding rear window. I took it to the dealer and they could not fix. Any ideas what might be causing this noise, and how to fix it?

Grab hold of the passenger seat back when the squeak starts; maybe it's coming from it.
I'm in agreement with TxOutlaw though with the rear doors. Take a buddy for a ride; have he/she sit in the back and help locate the squeak by pushing/pulling on the rear door panels and around the rear window area until the squeak goes away. You'll then have your source.

The dealership tried to work on the headliner, but could not get the noise to stop. It really sounds like it is coming from behind the backseat. I will check the weatherstrip this weekend. Might try to add some foam in the headliner also.

Got a sun roof? My FX had asqueaky but more a rattle that I could not find. I had my wife drive the truck and I sat in the back and scoped it out. Turned out to be the haead liner...The headliner was knocking against the steel roof panel support. If you use a flashlight and open the roof look in between the head liner and the roof support. you'll see that the bumper the factory used that is supposed to be glued is un stuck. I used some adhesive backed foam and stuffed it inbetween the two . That fixed it.

I have the same prob. hate it drives me crazy, i was told that noise is actually the rear window, not the head liner. Apparently there is a problem with the window actually making contact with the frame behind and under the window seal. I was told use to take off the window seal and use felt tape around the window itself, or Lube the window seal. I haven't had time to mess with it yet but i'll let u know how it goes.

Same problem for me. Drives me crazy. I isolated it the weather stripping (seal) around the rear window and directly below the sliding rear window. I tried a few things but no difference. Haven't asked the dealer for ideas yet.
