Exhaust Idea, What do you guys think?
As stated before I have an 04 Fx4. I wanted to do dual exhaust with side exits right before the rear tires on both sides. However upon inspection the gas tank put a damper on that idea. I went to the local exhaust shop(he did my true duals for my mustang for 300) and talked to him. Said we could do something similar to the lightning setup, with two pipes exiting in 3.5" tips at the right side before the right rear tire. The tips would be offset a tad and from what he showed me it looked amazing. We would be using a Flowmaster 40 series replica, with a single in, dual exit setup, so I pipe from the factory Y, then dual exits. he said it would be 250 out the door, what do you guys think?
Should I try to have true duals done, exiting this same way? Would I be better of exiting in the rear as done conventionally(this is more for looks and sound than it is for performance)... Thanks for any help.
Also wanting to put an Air raid CAI and get a troyer tune with an SCT X3. What do you guys think?

No need to go to duals all the way. The SI/DO should serve you well enough. If you do decide to go duals, just add an X or H where the stock Y is at and go dual from there. The exit location is really up to you. There's nothing wrong with exiting before the tire vs. behind it.
Expect to wait a while with Troyer for the tune. VMP, 5star, and PHP also do SCT tuning and would be much shorter wait times.

So I've heard on the tuning. I actually called up troyer today, the big thing I liked was that I would get retunes for free when buying the product (CAI/Headers/Etc.) from them. Also they are only about an hour and a half from Virginia Techs campus should I need to go see them for any reason.
For now though I just want it to sound like a truck, not my moms fusion lol. The tuning and CAI will be later on, when I have a bit more money to blow.
