Ok, you have a complete circuit to the speakers which is what I expected but do you have a dead short on your meter is more my concern? If so, you risk throwing a new deck in and burning out the amplifier in it as well (although you can probably warranty it once ...). I mean, it might have been from the door in the beginning and it's fixed now, but it'd really suck if you threw a brand new deck in there and burned it out right away. That's why I recommend doing a quick check.

For example... I measured 4 ohms on my Clarion 6x9's (which I expect) which are sitting on the shelf, not a complete dead short.
