Do you have some pictures of your 6 1/2 in the front?? The reason why I ask is my friend is going to give me his phoenix gold 6 1/2s but I'm not sure about the mounting for the front!!

no i checked my photobucket and dont have any of it sorry...mounting will be fine with the adapter, depth wise and everything you have more than enough room

Thanks for your help. I actually just found a pair of sonys just like the ones above but in 5x7 so I'm probably going to get those.

i would try to find another brand other than sony..they really arnt that good

I installed some Memphis 5x7s in all 4 speakers and they sound absolutely amazing. No amp and it rocks.

They are or were running a special for 1/2 off because of the Fast Five movie, you can't beat the quality either at $50 a set on sale. I compared the feature to the big box stores and for more money you don't get a rubber surround or built in high pass filter for the tweeter, and the tweeter moves so you can aim the sound.

pretty much anything but the sony's lol...the fosgates would be good, just depends what you want really

I took out my factory speakers up front and filed it out in order to put in some 6.5" polks. If you have the money, I'd go to woofersetc.com and get some CDTs.
