after how many miles should you change the plugs on a 5.4 engine?

I will change out my stockers to the Brisk at around 10K. I know I don't need to but I will because I already have them and would rather take the few minutes to change them now than take a LOT longer to pull sections of plugs out later. I am not trying to sell plugs or scare anyone but a friend of mine waited until 70k or so and the mechanic that did his broke four on removal and it ended up costing him a few bucks to get them out.

FORD recommends changing plugs after 100K or unless something screws up and you have to change them ahead of time. my brother has a 2008 GT mustang tuned and all the extra crap you can do to that car to make it as fast as it can go without dropping in a crate engine or boring it out.... he had his tune set for like... 93 and he put octane booster in it and it gunked the crap out of his plugs in under an hour... started back-firing...it was bad. no more booster for him lol

I've heard good things about the E3 plugs too:
