I don't think E3 makes a plug for the 5.4 3V

ford has a redesigned one peice plug, they started making them in late 07 i believe go talk to your dealer, these engines are picky, they like motorcraft the best

How do the Autolite plugs work in the 5.4?? i was going to go with double platinum, but thought It wount be a big deal because I am going to change them ever 30K from now on.

If you're gonna replace in 30k anyway just put the motorcraft plugs back in with some anti-seize. I did and it runs great. Just be sure to buy the tool. I got the NAPA version and it worked very well. Only the 8cyl plug broke though. Try not to put any angle on the plug socket while removing them. The back ones are the hard not to do this. But the tool got it out with no prob. Good luck!
