Which plug is better? Champion or motorcraft?

Awesome. I hear the champions are one piece but I read a lot about using anti sieze on the motor craft ones and having no problems next time replacing them

The reason for my response is that you are essentially asking what is a better color, red or blue. The crowd favorite here seems to be the new MC plug that has better resistance to breakage. What year, engine, mileage??

The new design MC plugs are good SP-515 if you have a 5.4 3v

I have used the champions for the last three changes . After the mc broke I no longer trust them . The video champion put out showing how mc bearks and they don't was enough for me . I change between 30k to 50k , and I clean the carbon out of the hole when open . I use nickle anti seize as per tsb . I haven't heard of any video from mc defending their new plugs . Mine originally broke at 75k even when following the TSB . I always torque them in also. Clean the holes out before pulling .

The original Motorcraft plugs' ends were crimped on, not welded. The new redesigned ones clearly show a weld ring around the threads and grounding strap. They won't break.

The original plugs that came in your truck were the problem, not the re-designed plug. Have not heard of any new ones breaking upon removal. so.. you have 275K miles on your motor ? Nice...
