Spark Plug Change at 109k Miles. Success!
So I got my truck (2005 Lariat Supercab) a year an a half ago with 76k miles and since it was already past the 50k, I decided I would just risk it and change the plugs once they went bad. Well, at 108k a few weeks ago it started hesitating under light acceleration. Cue bad plugs. Had a few nightmares but finally manned up and did them today.
Soaked them with PB Blaster last night and bright and early today I started wrenching. I made sure NAPA had the Lisle tool in stock since I was sure at least a couple would break.. Well, a couple hours later I was done. None broke, threw some one piece Champions in, and hesistation is gone. This is gonna be a good weekend. Sweet!

Thanks, guys. Well they have a 5 year warranty from Autozone so at the very least I can get new ones if they go bad. Autozone is good about no hassle warranties around here. Plus I won't have to stress about changing them anymore. The stock Motorcrafts are actually pretty solid to last an easy 108k miles. Too bad they're two-piece.
