spare tire question???
on my 2008 f150, I was wondering if it would be advisable or not to re-mount it on the cable system(stowage) with the valve stem facing down vs. the way it came from the factory with the valve stem facing up. Reason why is to periodically check the pressure in the spare without having to lower it to do it! any reason why I cannot mount it like this??? thanks in advance

I don't think it matters. It's just easier to mount it up cause you can put the cable thing through it with less struggle. But I've been wanting to do the same as you but I never think of it when I have time to mess with it
