Default Sos truck billowing white smoke out of tailpipe

So I was hooking up my DRL LEDs and now when I start my truck it is billowing white smoke out of the tailpipe. Everything was 100% fine last time I drove it. Its a 04 5.4.

Two things that happened

1. The battery arced really bad when I was trying to remove it so maybe a fuse? But IDK where to start.

2. We tapped a wire that was up where all those plugs are on the passenger side of the engine bay. there are 3 plugs up there, and on the far left one there is a black wire with a blue strip on it that had ignition power. Could it be related to that?

Thanks for your help.

I should also say the white smoke smells like gas and it is billowing out of the tailpipe so its not coolant.

Also no codes as usual.

Didnt you say in another post you directly tapped into that ignition wire? Did you use an in-line fuse when you did that? If not then a fuse must have popped. Not sure what would cause white smoke out of the tailpipe though.

I tapped some ignition wire in the engine bay. The lights worked fine. It was just when I started the truck it was shaking bad and smoking.

I think it has to do with the arc the battery created. I guess I'll just start pulling fuses.

I checked all fuses and everything i fine. I guess maybe I have an injector stuck open??? The white smoke is obviously fuel....How do I diagnose this?

Anyone have a pinout diagram for the 2004 5.4 PCM?

Are you talking about the wires for the PCM? Tapping into those just seems like a terrible idea. Undo what you did, and see if it still does it.

Still does it. Yeah I realize now it was a bad idea but its still doing it. I ended up having my insurance tow it and a shop is going to look at it. Seems like I have an injector or two stuck open or something. I don't even know where to start. I did't even have any codes.

I thinking it has to do with the battery arcing when I unhooked it. It just about welded my socket to the nut.
