When i put the truck on reverse the back up sonar turns off...
Any quick fix i can try?

Put it in reverse with the engine off and ignition forward. Go to the back of the truck and put your ear near each sensor. You should hear a ticking.. If one of 4 sensors are not ticking, then unplug it and if it back in.. Hopefully its just a dirty contact issue.. If that doesn't work then order yourself a new sensor for the one that you don't hear ticking.

They will all inevitably fail, so if you order 1 due to failure then you might as well get 2..
I gave up on my sensors and just installed a reverse camera in the tailgate handle. It works much better and has made hitching up to trailers a breeze.
