I believe there is some good size holes in there you can use.

If I make my own I would use the place where the other ones mount to. I just need to see if the materials needed to build one is cheaper than buying one. I'm wanted one with four lights and I see them online for around $200.

Its not going to give you as much light as hellas or real offroad lights but I used 4 work lights, like the kind you mount on backracks or toolboxes. The steel should be cheaper than 200 absolutely.

I'll probably go with offroad lights like Hellas or KC or others because I have hids already in my heads and I'd want them brighter than those. What looks better 6" or 8" lights?

I think 8s might look a little too big up front like that. Just my opinion.
