I had a Jiffy Lube install the wrong oil filter on my GTP, my friend was driving the car when it seized, cross-threaded filter, Jiffy Lube would NOT install a new engine, they put in a rebuilt Supercharged 3.8 with 100,000 mile warranty, I threatened to sue for a new engine, didn't phase 'em, they have attorneys, too!

100K warranty sounds better than new though no more Jiffy Lube for you

I know what you mean. My truck gets the full service every 3K at my dealer, it takes them an hour to do it.

That would suck! I think it sucks even worst that somebody would take a brand new truck to a place like that on their first oil change. My last 2 trucks, the 1st oil change was free from the dealer.
