Would be easiest to build one out of 3in exhaust tubing and have it powder coated.

Get an intake kit with a plastic tube and get one of spectres watertight filter housings and then run off the filter housing through the fender and up the a pillar ending with a snorkel scoop

Or if you know someone that bends 4in just custom make the intake completely and add your mass air sensor into it and use the watertight filter housing.

Have some one make and weld on a few small steel tabs shaped like the curves of the a pillar and
mount it using some self taping screws to hold it in place inside the door so the screw heads are hidden

On hole in the body either file the edge smooth and paint with touch up paint or file it smooth and add a piece of 1/8 in vacuum line to clean up the hole.

Any good exhaust shop can build you the outer part but I'm pretty positive the tb is 4in dia so youll either need a 4in to 3in silicone adapter or run 4in into the filter housing.

If you'd like part numbers for the housing I'm sure I could find them.

If you can't tell I've given much thought to this

filter housing

intake tube

and the scoop for the end

all you have to do is get a piece bent from the box to the scoop

youll have to have an intake kit cause the factory air box isnt airtight until after the filter

Default snorkel for f150

My wife drives my F150 to work. 64 miles roundtrip. I'm in Houston. Lots of flooding. I want her to NOT get stuck because she went thru deep water. Sooo, I want to put a snorkel on it.

Thanks for letting us know. And for bringing back an almost four year old thread.
