See I think a custom tube style one would look good not like a big bulky plastic one. Such as that one.

I still think a custom one off 4in pipe powder coated black with the scoop would look better

I wonder if you could fab something up that will pull air from the wiper cowl area. If you put a P trap style loop on it with drain holes, it should work in theory. Just thinking out loud.
If your looking to cross rivers then I'd get the snorkel. I would not recommend you do that with out 44" tires and much more lift. The engine bay is all electronic and sensitive to moisture..
Take some pics of your current air box

No definitely not looking to cross rivers but trails with 8inches to 2 foot of water are stalling my truck out.... shoot id probably stall out on a flooded road at this point.. i will never need the full functionality of the snorkel but just trying to get by the danger of hydrolocking the engine...

You should be good with a good 3ft deep puddle if your air box is sound.. Lets see some pics of your box so we can figure out how it's managing to suck in water.

its using the stock airbox, however there is an air duct that goes down behind the front bumper in order to pull in colder air for the supercharger since it gets very hot under the hood...
