I don't know about those but I have an 8in TC Sounds sub. It fits nicely under the seat and sounds pretty good to. You'll need an amp with a. Bass boost though.

It depends what your looking for. If your not looking for a hard hitting bass then yea a 8"would be fine. I have a 10" Sony and it's perfect for what I need. It's not underpowered by any means but when I crank it up it doesn't shake the car apart like rice burners. Either way your going to need to amp the sub.

I found an enclosure that fits a sub and the amp under the drivers side 2 person seat in my scab. It's nice still having the entire back fully functional for passengers.

i'm not looking for pounding bass, just a good clean thump to go with my stock speakers and pioneer head unit. was about to get a 10" in box on drivers side but balked because i leave my seat flipped up most of the time and throw my stuff in there or haul groceries. looks like i could put one of those amplified(?) subs under passenger seat. i'm assuming they mount or do they just lay there? don't know a whole lot about speakers

When I was first looking for a sub, I remember seeing a Sony 8" sub with a built in amp on eBay. This was a couple of years ago so I'm not sure of any one still sells them. They made 2 styles, 1 that fit behind the seats in a super crew and another one that under the passenger side rear seat on our scabs. I would look on ebay to see if there are still available. And obviously you are going to have to move the jack somewhere else then.
