Unhappy Sluggish @ 40 mph?

My truck is a 04 5.4 screw. It feels sluggish like a misfire starting around 40mph up till about 53mph(kind of flutters). This is also with OD on. I have a drop in filter, 40 series replacement, and just had plugs and fuel filter changed. After changing plugs it did seem better, but i still can pick up quicker then i would like. Ive read issues with coils, year of truck (standard bs issues), and would just like to try some other options rather then having the dealer look at it for 80 an hour. Any help would be awesome.

thanxs

Check these out, just in case. This is on 2004 models.

Now I had something similar in my 2006, which I had the following TSB performed. Not sure if this is your issue or not, or if it will even help.

Having a TSB performed, if that is your issue, would cost you maybe an hour labor (roughly $100), give or take a little. All they have to do is pull it into the bay and reprogram your PCM. But then again, this is just a suggestion, do not know for sure either TSB will cure your issue.

First they'd have to drive it, determine the issue exists, then reflash the PCM with the latest upgrade. Which what I posted may not even be the latest upgrade.

So yeah, check with them to see what it'd cost first before you took it in.
