Sirius Radio Help Please ASAP!
I own the sirius starmate 5 I was taking out an old wire and accidentally cut my power wire to my sirius is there any way to splice it back together? I tried and no luck maybe someone can help me here.

Stripe back each wire and simply wire nut them together. If you have a soldering iron just solder them together and put shrink wrap on each wire. Also, E-bay has many of the power wires on sale, they should run around $10.

I tried wire nuts nothing worked. I checked the fuse in the head that you plug into the cig lighter and that was blown so I replaced it and still no power. I am gonna buy a new cord. Just dont wanna wait for it to come. I cant stand driving 20 min without sirius.

Positive. I plugged in a deer spotlight to it and it worked perfect. But when I plugged sirius back in nothing. I thought maybe I blew the head unit. But there isnt even any power to it. I check the power with a beeper at the splice and nothing no power. I dont get it.
