I already had them in my fogs

I'm running some 100w xenon 9005 bulbs in my fogs and they are extremely bright. I have the 04-05 rectangular fogs that don't melt and I beefed up the wiring to prevent it from melting though. I heard 100w bulbs melt the newer round fog light housings

The Silverstar ultras are great bulbs. I've had mine for over a year now. I thought the price a little steep, but noticed a difference immediately from the stock ones. These trucks already have bright head lights, these just make them that much better.

I bought a set of Silverstars when I noticed that my high beams were still bright and clear colored while my low beams were weak and yellow looking. I only get to use high beams a few minutes a year so they were like new.

I replaced mine with the Silverstars a few months back. Upon reading the back of the package I noticed that the Silverstars have a decreased life expectancy.. Does anyone know how long these last if you run your fogs and headlights at the same time? I spent about 100 bucks for both fog and headlamps. Also keep in mind that on the 2004 new body style that there are 4 possibilities for fitment. I had to crawl under the truck to see which lamps would fit. Just wondering how long they would last before they burned out.

Anyone know how these lights are in the rain or on wet roads?

Like regular light just a little brighter. Heavy rain can't use high beams. Like any other lights. But for me, everything is really clear with these lights.
