I have an 04 lariat and after looking at the 05 and newer 150s , I noticed that they don't have the gloss black panels between the front and back doors on the supercabs and supercrews like the 04s. They went to the flat black wich doesn't look as sharp. The gloss blends in with the windows more. They must have had to cut some costs.

I saw that too. Some people will put chrome panels there, but that just sticks out way too much and makes it look bad.
