So did you get the truck? In SE Michigan you can't touch that truck for under 20k WITH rust. I occasionally look on Craigslist for 2011-newer F150s with the 5.0 and I have no luck unless you're willing to spend 30k. But I'm looking for a Black,Screw,leather,FX4 under 100k miles.

Plenty of 2013's around me with around 50-75K for around 25K. I have been looking pretty hard. A Supercrew 5.0 is a must for me and 4x4.

I was looking at the pictures of the truck on the dealer sight. That's a pretty base model, below an xlt. There aren't any options on it and the lift kit doesn't really add value, unless you really one that feature. Seema a little high to me, but sounds like you've already decided.

Ok I ended up getting it. I got them to pay off my loan on the 04 which was still at $10,500! And it had some problems that I spelled out for them... They also payed the sales tax on the new one. Got a 2.73% interest rate, and my payments are only higher by about 50 bucks a month. Plus I got a 1year 12k mile powertrain warranty through the bank, so I'm definitely satisfied...

Man thats a good chunk of $ for a vehicle with 100k miles on it, but thats just my opinion. Hopefully you enjoy your truck problem free for years to come!

You said it earlier that it's only a 3 year old truck. Yes it is but it has 113,000 miles on it!

You could've paid a little bit more and built your own with a lot less miles.

If you are happy, that is all that matters.

The advantage I see is less rust due to it being only 3 years old. My 13 year old truck just hit 113,000 miles, if from Rhode Island it would probably have some rust.

I fixed a lot of rust on my 04. The bed was eaten through 2 years ago when I got it. I pulled the bed, had new panels welded in and had it spray-lined. (I highly recommend Bullet liner) then I took the whole back half of the frame to bear metal and por-15'd it. The body had nothing but slight door surface rust and I took care of that a while back... I don't want to go through that again. This 2013 is super-clean and the frame looks brand new. Most of the suspension parts were replaced with new when the lift was put in so I don't have to worry about that for a while. And the engine+ tranny feel solid- if something goes wrong, I have the warranty for the next year and I can always extend it... the high end of the book value is about 21,000 I agreed on 24,000 because they payed off the 10,500 on the 04 and payed the sales tax on the new which was 1700. All that and the fact that they were just great people. Best experience I've ever had at a dealer by far. Worth it to me...

4 years. But I will probably end up paying it down faster and trading it in after 2 or so...
