So I found a great deal on a black bumper with fog light mounts and I have always wanted fogs and I like the paint to match bumper. I currently have chrome and black basically all over my truck so why do you think? Should I keep chrome or get the black bumper and paint the rear? I'm worried it will be too much black for the remaining few chrome pieces.

If your going for a blacked out look you can always plasti dip the remaining chrome.

Definitely go black, a guy in the 09+ section bought 3M gloss black vinyl and wrapped his bumpers with that and it looks fantastic.

Alright thanks guys I had been leaning towards the black myself it's just hard to justify spending money on something that's purely cosmetic and not damaged!

You could spray it with plastidip, and see if you like it. If not peel it off. Personally I think it will look great with the black bumper.

I really want the fog lights though that's what got me looking into the new bumpers to begin with so I might as well just get it painted to do it right.
