Default Should I sell my 2004 f-150

161k miles
New aftermarket rims and tires
Stock height
Cold air intake
No rust

Hello, I have had my 2004 f150 for 2 years. I love the truck. It runs great when its not having issues. Earlier this month I had to put a new transmission in it. Then a week ago i had to put new cam phasers in it. $3,000 on it this month. Earlier in the year i needed all new breaks, and a new throttle body.

The truck rums great and sounds healthy. When its not having issues.

I cant decide if alot of other expensive issues are going to continue to occur and if this is a sign i need to sell it.

What other major problems could go wrong?

Should I sell it?

Thanks, Brady

Sounds like you took care of the major issues. Should be smooth sailing here out.

I think, if you've already sunk 3,000 into it, I would drive it until the next 'major' expense occurs. At minimum, till the transmission warranty runs out.

Those are the 2 biggest issues you should have. I'd say go for 250,000-300,000 miles.

I have never cleaned my fuel injectors. Would you recommend that I clean them?
