I just moved back to PA and to pass inspection they want me to put fender flares on it. I'm sure I could rig something to get it through inspection but I could also put some Bushwackers on it. I'm kind of use to it the way it is and wonder if I would not like the looks of the $500 pieces of plastic. Thoughts?

Fender flares look great if they're painted to match the body but stick out if left the dull black. But since your truck is black I think they would look good and blend in nicely. Also it would be more expensive and more work but have you thought of pre runner style fenders?
Not sure if they would give you the needed coverage or fit your style but it's something different.

Can you run your stock wheels with that lift? If so, just put them back on for inspection, and then switch them back after you pass.
I sure am happy that i don't have to deal with inspections in WI.
