Installing aftermarket stereo in 08 supercrew
Ok, as soon as i get home from this deployment, I am gonna have all my new stereo equipment waiting on me at my house to install. Heres what Ive got so far which is the best compontes I can find for my budget:
Rear dual 10" under seat box
polk audio MM1040 subs
mb quart discus 1000w amp
infiniti kappa door speakers
pioneer AVH-P3200BT head unit
and a cap probably
My only issue is where to install the amp... I cant currently go look for my self otherwise I would. But I was wondering if it would fit underneath my front seat in the center mounted to the floor (I have the flip down console). Has anyone tried this? If not there, where? I know it will not fit under the driver's or passenger's seat and the box will be taking up under all of the back seat.

ok, I'm dumb. I just found the section of the forum for audio, theres a perfect example of that amp mounting on there. But thanks for the help.

i was looking into one of the dual 10" sealed boxes for my truck but my local stereo shop swore up and down that a JL steath ported single 10" box with a W3 sub would make more bass... to prove it they called up a few different customers with each setup and i listened to what they had... i must say the dual 10 box is a bit punchier but the JL stealth ported 10" box sounds waaaaaay better and hits much much lower. just my .02
also behind the seat in my 08 STX scab

the main reason i am going with ther polk subs is beacuse their normal sub fits into the underseat box, they are not limited by the shallow mount design. they can do this because the magnets they use are neodenium (if i spelled that right) but they are way stronger than the normal speaker magnets so they are a lot smaller (5 1/8" mounting depth)
